Tender Coordinator (Italian or Spanish speaking)

The tender Co-Ordinator position here is a new one. As such you will have the opportunity to get involved in the scoping and build out of a European-wide team. Not fit an arbitrary mould we have, but shape the role as you develop.

There are things to be done, and skills the role requires.

    Undertake and complete PQQ, PFQ submissions and technical/compliance information to accompany tender bids and responses to expressions of interest
    Download/upload tender documents via procurement portals
    Maintain a library of frequently used documents and standard responses
    Liaise with colleagues to gather supportive data and works information (We collaborate deeply at Illumina)
    Manage the approval process before the tender is submitted
    Create and collate information as required including CVs, technical information, statistics and presentation slides
    Create production of final documents
    Assist with the production of new documentation
    Implement and manage tender tracking / contract lifecycle management tool
    Monitor European tender releases to identify relevant ones for Illumina

Internal/External communications.

    Liaise with the Commercial (sales, services, support, finance, contracts) teams to meet overall objectives
    Additionally, you will assist with the development of corporate standards to ensure that the company is always represented in a professional and consistent manner.

Required Skills

    Experience in a similar role and industry preferable
    Italian language knowledge (additional European language desirable as the team covers EMEA)
    Knowledge of the life sciences and clinical diagnostics market desirable
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Good computer literacy and presentation skills
    SFDC and SAP experience desirable

Required Experience

    The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong tender related background and preferably experience within marketing / business development / bid management
