The Sales Executive will have the opportunity to take part in an intensive, comprehensive training scheme designed to equip them with the sales and technical skillset to be successful in the world of asset finance sales.
Trainees will work with a senior industry- experienced mentor and will benefit from industry-leading training - both classroom based and on-the-job - including sales and presentation skills, product knowledge and financial analysis skills.
After 12 months, successful individuals will 'graduate' and be assigned their own geographical territory where they will develop an industry specific specialism and create new asset finance opportunities for the bank.
Whilst in the role and following ‘graduation’ from the Academy, trainee’s will be expected to:
-Source sales from within the allocated geographical location, either by directly prospecting the existing customer base, sourcing new customers or through dealer introducers.
-Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.
-Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers via telephone, emails, and face to face meetings.
Act as a contact between the company and its existing and potential markets, negotiating terms of an agreement and closing sales, gathering market and customer information.
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
-Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations.
-Review own sales performance aiming to meet or exceed targets.
-Make accurate, rapid quotations and provide customers with the relevant information to close the deal.
-Ensure own administration is in line with regulatory requirements and company procedure

-Strong interpersonal skills
-Numerate with analytical ability
-Excellent presentation skills
-Strong ability to plan and organise, effective sales activity planning is vital
