Role Summary
- Help protect 30% of land, freshwater, and sea in Wales by 2030.
- Work with farmers to make plans that help nature.
- Support the Sustainable Farming Scheme (SFS).
- Job is until March 31, 2027, with chance to keep the job.
- Based in Aberystwyth, Welshpool or Cross Hands.
Key Tasks
- Give advice about protected land and nature.
- Help with rules for managing special sites.
- Work with others to make good plans for nature.
- Help with water, land quality, and pollution incidents.
- Visit remote sites to check and give permissions.
Skills And Experience
- Know about managing protected sites and nature.
- Can give advice and work with farmers.
- Have a full, current UK driving licence.
- Able to work well with others.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for interviews.
Pay And Hours
- The job is a fixed term until March 31, 2027.
- There may be a chance to make the job permanent.
- Flexible working options available.

Location And Workplace
- Based at NRW offices in Aberystwyth, Welshpool or Cross Hands.
- You can work partly from home (hybrid working).
- Must travel to visit outdoor sites.
- Regular meetings and training will be planned in advance.
