Role summaryRole Summary
  • This is a free work experience for school students aged 15 or over.
  • It lasts one week, starting 6 July 2026, with up to 25 hours to work.
  • You will help with sorting, scanning, and managing paper documents.
  • You will learn about looking after data and records.
  • The work is at the Maes y Ffynnon office in Bangor.

  • Scan documents and pictures into computers.
  • Organise and check report titles and images.
  • Help keep the office’s documents neat and easy to find.
  • Learn how to use data and record keeping systems.
  • Follow health and safety rules at work.

  • Want to learn how to use scanning machines.
  • Good at paying attention to detail.
  • Interested in environmental topics and office work.
  • Able to travel to the office by yourself.
  • Want to work well with others and gain confidence.
  • Basic Welsh language skills (Entry Level).

  • This is an unpaid placement.
  • You can work up to 25 hours in one week.
  • Working hours will be agreed with you before it starts.
