Role Summary
- This is a free work experience for school students aged 15 or over.
- It lasts one week, starting 6 July 2026, with up to 25 hours to work.
- You will help with sorting, scanning, and managing paper documents.
- You will learn about looking after data and records.
- The work is at the Maes y Ffynnon office in Bangor.
Key Tasks
- Sort documents to keep or throw away safely.
- Scan documents and pictures into computers.
- Organise and check report titles and images.
- Help keep the office’s documents neat and easy to find.
- Learn how to use data and record keeping systems.
- Follow health and safety rules at work.
Skills And Experience
- Want to learn how to use scanning machines.
- Good at paying attention to detail.
- Interested in environmental topics and office work.
- Able to travel to the office by yourself.
- Want to work well with others and gain confidence.
- Basic Welsh language skills (Entry Level).
Pay And Hours
- This is an unpaid placement.
- You can work up to 25 hours in one week.
- Working hours will be agreed with you before it starts.
Location And Workplace
- The placement is at Maes y Ffynnon office, Penrhosgarnedd, Bangor.
- You will be part of a friendly and supportive team.
- You will learn about digital data and nature work.
