Role Summary
- North Wales Housing wants to give good homes and help to people.
- They are growing and want to build 650 new homes by 2028.
- Two new Board Members are needed to help plan the future.
- One Board Member needs to know about managing money well.
- The other Board Member needs to know about managing buildings and homes.
- Both must have a home address in Wales.
Key Tasks
- Help make big decisions for North Wales Housing.
- Check and guide money plans and budgets.
- Help take care of houses and land.
- Make sure the group follows the rules.
- Work with others on the Board to make good plans.
Skills And Experience
- Good at strategic financial management or managing assets.
- Understand long term planning and keeping homes safe.
- Know about sustainability and reaching net zero carbon goals is a plus.
- Have experience from public, private, or charity sectors.
- Be able to join meetings and learn about housing.
Pay And Hours
- Board Members get paid £4,500 each year.
- The job is part-time and non-executive (you advise but do not run daily work).
Location And Workplace
- You must have a permanent home in Wales.
- The organisation works across North Wales.
- Meetings may be online or in North Wales.
