Role Summary
- You will be a Design Technician.
- You help create technical work and drawings.
- You work on several projects on your own.
- You use skills to find good, lasting solutions.
- You support people who walk, wheel, or cycle.
Key Tasks
- Follow clear steps and guidelines in your work.
- Make technical drawings, reports, or plans.
- Solve problems and think carefully about projects.
- Use creative and green design methods.
- Work with your team to improve community spaces.
Skills And Experience
- Have a Level 3 qualification or 3 years of work experience in a related area like Civil Engineering or Urban Design.
- Know how to use design software well.
- Understand healthy street design best practices.
- Know health and safety rules for your work.
- Work safely with children, young people and adults at risk.
Pay And Hours
- Full time: 37.5 hours each week.
- The job pays £29,835 per year (less if you work part time).
- Flexible working hours can be discussed.
Location And Workplace
- Work is hybrid: partly at home, partly at a nearby Walk Wheel Cycle Hub.
- You can choose the Walk Wheel Cycle Hub closest to you.
