Role Summary
- Work for Natural Resources Wales to protect the environment.
- Be a Senior Industry and Waste Regulation Officer.
- Check that big industrial sites and waste places follow the rules.
Key Tasks
- Inspect complex industrial and waste sites.
- Work with sites like COMAH (Control of Major Accident Hazards) and RSR (Radioactive Substances Regulation).
- Respond quickly to environmental problems and complaints.
- Make sure sites improve and follow laws.
- Drive to visit different sites in north and mid Wales when needed.
Skills And Experience
- Able to drive legally in the UK.
- Can work on short notice and visit sites anytime.
- Good at investigating and solving problems.
- Work safely and follow rules.
- Use NRW's (Natural Resources Wales) rules for making decisions.
Pay And Hours

Location And Workplace
- Based at the NRW office in Buckley, north Wales.
- Visits to many sites across north and mid Wales.
- Work partly from home with agreed schedule.
