Role Summary
- You will be an Environment Officer in South West Wales.
- Your job is to help stop pollution from farms.
- You will check farms in Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion.
- You will work to protect the environment and support farmers.
Key Tasks
- Visit farms to check they follow pollution rules.
- Work alone or with others to inspect farms.
- Talk to farmers and give advice to help them improve.
- Take action if farms break the rules.
- Build good relationships to encourage better farming.
Skills And Experience
- Good communication and influencing skills.
- Able to solve problems and work independently.
- Full and current UK driving licence is needed.
- Willing to travel to remote farms without public transport.
Pay And Hours
- This is a permanent job.
- Flexible working patterns are supported.
- You will agree a hybrid working plan with the office nearby.
Location And Workplace
- You will work mainly in South West Wales.
- You will be based at the nearest office to your home.
- You will sometimes need to attend face to face meetings or training.
