Role Summary
- You will help make walking, wheeling and cycling easier and safer.
- You will support projects to build new paths and spaces without traffic.
- You will work with teams, communities and partners.
- This is a full-time, permanent job based in South England, near Bristol if possible.
Key Tasks
- Help manage and support active travel projects.
- Work on plans to fight climate change and improve public spaces.
- Organise community events to get people involved.
- Travel sometimes for work, including overnight stays.
Skills And Experience
- Good at talking and writing reports.
- Able to work well in a team and with other groups like local councils.
- Know about design standards for walking and cycling paths.
- Can use mapping software like ArcGIS.
- Can work on your own and care about safety for children and adults.
Pay And Hours
- Contract is permanent and full-time (37.5 hours per week).
- Salary is £29,835 per year (less if part-time).
- Flexible working hours can be discussed.
Location And Workplace
- Job is based in the South of England.
- Near Bristol office is preferred but not essential.
- You may need to work in other places sometimes.
