Role Summary
- You will be the Head of Finance for Repairs.
- You will give financial leadership to the Repairs team.
- You will help make important financial decisions.
- Your work will help make Repairs better and safer.
Key Tasks
- Lead a team that gives monthly money reports.
- Make sure reports show risks and chances to improve.
- Write reports for the Board and senior leaders.
- Plan budgets and forecast future costs.
- Help budget holders work better and save money.
- Follow accounting rules and prepare for audits.
- Work with other teams to improve Repairs.
- Find ways to make Repairs more productive.
- Keep up to date with rules and trends.
- Support the two DLO teams with finance and reports.
- Create and use measures to track productivity.
Skills And Experience
- You must be a qualified accountant (CCAB).
- Have experience in different sectors including housing.
- Give good financial advice to leaders.
- Good at planning and working with others.
- Can meet deadlines and manage many tasks.
- Able to challenge and support others well.
