Role Summary
- You will work on site for Natural Resources Wales (NRW).
- You will travel to different NRW buildings nearby, up to 30 miles from Aberystwyth.
- Sometimes you will go to Lampeter to meet the team.
- You will do checks to keep buildings safe and legal.
- You will help with minor building projects.
- You will work mostly on your own but can get help from your manager.
Key Tasks
- Test fire alarms and check water temperatures.
- Do routine safety checks on buildings.
- Meet and help contractors who do repairs and maintenance.
- Travel to sites, sometimes with little notice.
Skills And Experience
- You must have a full and valid UK driving licence.
- You should be comfortable driving to different locations.
- You need to be good at working independently.
- You need to be able to follow safety rules.
Pay And Hours
- This is a fixed term job until 30 April 2027.
- It may be extended or become permanent but this is not certain.
- Interview and DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) needed before job starts.
Location And Workplace
- You will work at several NRW buildings near Aberystwyth and Lampeter.
- You will travel to these locations by car.
- The job is not suitable for working from home.
