Role Summary
- You will use your skills to complete tasks with little help.
- Your work supports projects for better walking, wheeling, and cycling.
- You will be part of a team including engineers and designers.
- Your work helps create safe and accessible places.
Key Tasks
- Manage simple projects from start to finish using RIBA stages (a building planning process).
- Produce accurate technical documents and drawings.
- Work with colleagues, partners, and regulators to deliver projects.
- Help prepare project proposals to help grow the business.
Skills And Experience
- Have a degree or similar qualification in Civil Engineering or similar field with 2+ years experience, OR 5 years relevant work experience.
- Know how to use design software like AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Understand healthy street and inclusive design principles.
- Know about health and safety rules and how to keep people safe.
- Work in a way that protects children and adults at risk.
Pay And Hours
- Full time - 37.5 hours a week.
- Salary is £33,265 per year plus £1,412 extra.
- Part time is possible, with pay adjusted.
- Flexible working can be discussed.
Location And Workplace
- Hybrid working - part at home and part in office.
- Office near Edinburgh or Glasgow, easy to travel to.
