Role Summary
- You will work as an Engineer at Walk Wheel Cycle Trust (WWCT).
- You will use your skills to complete technical tasks with little help.
- Your work will help deliver projects that support walking, wheeling, and cycling.
- You will work with a team of designers, engineers, and specialists to improve places.
Key Tasks
- Manage simple projects from start to finish using the RIBA plan (Royal Institute of British Architects).
- Create accurate technical reports and designs.
- Work with colleagues, partners, and authorities during projects.
- Help prepare project proposals for new business.
Skills And Experience
- You should have a degree or similar in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Urban Design, or similar.
- Or have at least 5 years’ experience in a relevant job.
- Know how to use design software like AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Understand healthy street design and inclusive design principles.
- Know about health and safety rules, including CDM Regulations (Construction Design and Management).
- Work in ways that keep children and adults safe.
Pay And Hours
- Full time is 37.5 hours each week.
- We can talk about flexible working hours.
- Pay is £33,265 per year plus £1,412 as a market supplement.
- Part-time pay is less, based on hours worked.
Location And Workplace
- You can work from home and from any UK office that you can travel to easily.
- This is a hybrid working job (some days working at home, some at office).
