Role Summary
- You will manage the data and analytics team.
- You help improve social care and childcare services in Wales.
- You work with many people to collect and use data well.
- You report to the Senior Manager of Project, Data and ICT Services.
- You make sure the organisation uses data to make smart decisions.
Key Tasks
- Help plan and deliver the data service for the organisation.
- Work with others to understand their data needs.
- Create reports and systems to share data easily.
- Use data tools to understand and predict trends.
- Build links with social care and childcare experts in Wales.
- Manage a team of 6 staff members.
- Plan the team's work and check it meets goals.
- Lead the collection, checking, and sharing of data.
- Produce regular and special reports for senior leaders.
- Check and improve the CRM system that holds data.
- Help with digital development and reporting needs.
- Keep developing your own skills with your manager.
Skills And Experience
- Good experience in managing data and teams.
- Able to work with many people and understand needs.
- Skills in data analysis and creating reports.
- Can lead projects and organise work well.
- Welsh language skills are a plus but not required.
Pay And Hours
- Full-time salary starts at £47,675.
- Salary can go up to £56,445.
- Part-time or job share applicants are welcome.
Location And Workplace
- You can work from any Welsh Government office in Wales.
- Jobs outside Wales, like London, are not available unless stated.
