Role Summary
- You will manage big projects about walking, wheeling, and cycling.
- You will plan, lead and check the work is done well and on time.
- You will make sure the projects are safe and follow the rules.
- You will work with partners and local people to meet their needs.
Key Tasks
- Plan and deliver walking, wheeling, and cycling projects.
- Manage money, time, risks, and people on projects.
- Build good working relationships with others involved.
- Lead and support your team so they do their best work.
- Help find new funding and develop project ideas with colleagues.
Skills And Experience
- You need 4 years with a degree or 7 years experience in similar work.
- Know about travel and transport planning for active travel.
- Have done project management with budgets and risks.
- Have led teams and helped them succeed.
- Can work in a way that keeps children and adults safe.
- Experience making project proposals and getting funding.
Pay And Hours
- Full time, 37.5 hours per week.
- Salary is £37,904 per year (less if part time).
- Flexible working can be discussed.
Location And Workplace
- Hybrid working with some office days.
- You must live close enough to travel to Leeds, Manchester, or Newcastle hubs.
