Role summaryRole Summary
  • You will lead four specialist teams in digital forensics, eDiscovery, business operations and IT.
  • You will help the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) fight financial crime and protect consumers.
  • Your work supports investigations and court cases using digital evidence and technology.
  • You will lead projects using advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • You will work with law enforcement, regulators and technology providers.
Key tasksKey Tasks
  • Manage digital forensic services and keep high-quality standards.
  • Run the eDiscovery function using latest technology efficiently.
  • Lead projects that improve systems to spot harm early.
  • Support investigator training and lead risk management and business planning.
  • Follow important legal and quality rules for evidence handling.
  • Work closely with other leaders and report to FCA Executive and Board.
  • Take part in formal decisions for operational activities following the law.
Skills and experienceSkills And Experience
  • Experience leading large teams and working with senior managers.
  • Good knowledge of digital forensics, eDiscovery and related tech.
  • Experience in investigations and training investigators.
  • Able to manage big projects and handle crisis situations.
  • Strong leadership with good communication and use of data.
  • Understanding of legal frameworks like RIPA (Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act).
  • It helps but is not required to know about financial or organised crime.

  • Role is based in London with hybrid working (at least 2 days onsite).
