Role Summary
- You will help keep people and the environment safe.
- You will check hazardous waste is handled properly.
- Hazardous waste means dangerous waste that needs special care.
Key Tasks
- Give advice on how to classify hazardous waste.
- Work with companies that produce waste.
- Check waste records and lab results.
- Support inspections and take action if rules are broken.
- Help make new guidance for hazardous waste.
Skills And Experience
- You need good technical knowledge about hazardous waste.
- You must have a full UK driving licence.
- You should be able to travel to different sites, often in remote places.
Pay And Hours
- Details about pay and working hours will be shared later.
- Flexible working is supported, including some home working.
Location And Workplace
- You will work in an office in North West Wales.
- You will travel a lot to visit different hazardous waste sites.
- Public transport is limited, so driving is needed.
