Role Summary
- You will give advice on energy policies in Wales.
- You will help the Welsh and UK Governments with plans for energy.
- You will focus on energy made on land, like wind or solar power.
- You will work with many experts and share important information.
- You will help make sure decisions protect nature while using energy.
Key Tasks
- Give expert advice on energy and nature protection.
- Work with Welsh Government and other important groups.
- Help write policies and guides for energy projects.
- Support good decisions about energy building on land.
- Work with teams in our organisation on energy and environment.
Skills And Experience
- Experience in energy policies, especially land-based energy.
- Good at working with different people and groups.
- Able to give clear advice based on evidence.
- Understanding of how to protect nature with energy plans.
Pay And Hours

- Flexible working hours are supported.
- You will work partly at an office and partly from home.
Location And Workplace
- You will be based at a Natural Resources Wales office.
- You will agree a hybrid working plan (office and home).
- Meetings and training will be planned ahead.
