  • Help set plans and check how the FSA is doing.
  • Take part in Board meetings and Committees.
  • Speak for the FSA to important groups.
  • If Deputy Chair, help run meetings and support the Chair.
  • Help Board members work well as a team.

  • Experience working with the public.
  • Able to represent what consumers need.
  • Strong career with important decisions made.
  • Good at teamwork and understanding information.
  • Good communication and people skills.
  • Deputy Chair needs experience leading meetings and understanding good rules.
  • Member role welcomes people with data or AI experience.
Pay and hoursPay And Hours
  • Deputy Chair: £14,000 for 35 days each year.
  • Member: £8,000 for 20 days each year.
  • Appointments last up to 3 years.

  • Meetings and work may be online or in different places.
