Role Summary
- You will be the Head of Policy and Standards.
- The job is national but you must be in Bedford 4 days a month.
- You will help make pensions dashboards work well and safely.
- Pensions dashboards show all pensions in one place online.
- You will make rules and check the service follows the law.
Key Tasks
- Turn government pension policy into clear rules for the service.
- Lead and improve standards that all parts of the dashboard service must follow.
- Work closely with regulators like the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and The Pensions Regulator (TPR).
- Approve organisations that join the pension dashboard platform.
- Lead on data protection and ethics to keep user information safe.
- Watch for risks to users and the system’s trust.
Skills And Experience
- Experience working with UK regulators like FCA or TPR.
- Experience creating rules or compliance for complex services.
- Skill in turning policies into practical delivery.
- Knowledge of data protection laws like GDPR.
- Good at working with different groups in government and industry.
- Understand digital systems and data flows.
Pay And Hours
- The job is full time (hours not stated).
- Be ready to travel to Bedford 4 days each month.
