Role Summary
- You will be the Chair of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- HCPC is a group that helps keep people safe by checking health workers.
- You will help lead the organisation during an important time of change.
- You will work with leaders and team members to guide the HCPC.
Key Tasks
- Lead meetings of the Council, which runs the HCPC.
- Make sure the HCPC follows its plans and rules.
- Work with the Chief Executive and team.
- Be a role model for fairness, diversity, and inclusion.
- Build trust with people and groups inside and outside the UK.

- Have experience working in top leadership roles.
- Be good at making plans and thinking about the future.
- Be a strong communicator who listens and helps others agree.
- Be confident in handling challenges from others.
- Understand health care and work across the UK countries.
