Role Summary
- The General Medical Council (GMC) makes sure doctors and other healthcare workers are well trained and follow rules.
- This job is for an Assistant Director to lead a team checking the quality of medical education and training.
- You will help make sure future healthcare workers give safe and good care.
Key Tasks
- Lead a team of about 40 people.
- Check and improve medical schools and training programs.
- Develop the UK Medical Licensing Assessment.
- Work with partners and leaders to improve healthcare education.
- Use data to find risks and make better decisions.
Skills And Experience
- Experience in quality assurance, checking or regulation, especially in healthcare or education.
- Good at planning and leading big projects.
- Able to work with senior leaders and different teams.
- Know how rules and laws work in healthcare.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.

- 30 days holiday each year.
