Role Summary
- You will help make streets safer and better for walking, wheeling, and cycling.
- You will work with schools and communities in the North and Midlands of England.
- This is a fixed-term job until March 31, 2027.
- You will work full time, 37.5 hours each week.
Key Tasks
- Plan and run projects that encourage walking, wheeling, and cycling.
- Work closely with local leaders and community groups.
- Support and guide volunteers and colleagues.
- Visit different places as needed for your work.
Skills And Experience
- Experience working with children and young people.
- Understand challenges some communities face.
- Know about safety and managing risks.
- Good speaking and writing skills.
- Able to solve problems and work on your own.
- Able to help and encourage others.
- Work well with a team.
- Focus on safety and wellbeing for children and vulnerable adults.
Pay And Hours
- Pay is £29,835 each year (less if part time).
- Full time is 37.5 hours a week.
- Flexible working options may be possible.
Location And Workplace
- Based in Sefton, Merseyside.
- Travel to other places in the North and Midlands for work.
- You will work with the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust.
