Role SummaryRole Summary
  • We need an engineer with MEICA skills. MEICA means Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation.
  • You will help keep important equipment working safely and well.
  • You will work with others to manage and fix equipment.
Key TasksKey Tasks
  • Give work to contractors and check their work.
  • Keep track of work progress and write reports.
  • Find and fix faults quickly to stop problems.
  • Manage small contracts and follow safety rules.
  • Help with projects up to £50,000, including design and reviews.
  • Work with electricity companies and help in emergencies.
  • Drive to different work sites, some far away.
Skills and ExperienceSkills And Experience
  • You must be a qualified and experienced engineer.
  • You should know MEICA well.
  • You must work well with others.
  • You need to understand health and safety rules.
  • You must have a full UK driving licence.
Pay and HoursPay And Hours
  • Details about pay and hours will be told later.
  • You may work flexibly with a mix of office and home working.
  • Sometimes you will work outside normal hours for emergencies.
Location and WorkplaceLocation And Workplace
  • You will work for Natural Resources Wales (NRW).
  • You will be based in the North East Wales office.
  • You will travel to work sites that are sometimes remote.
