Role Summary
- We need an engineer with MEICA skills. MEICA means Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation.
- You will help keep important equipment working safely and well.
- You will work with others to manage and fix equipment.
Key Tasks
- Give work to contractors and check their work.
- Keep track of work progress and write reports.
- Find and fix faults quickly to stop problems.
- Manage small contracts and follow safety rules.
- Help with projects up to £50,000, including design and reviews.
- Work with electricity companies and help in emergencies.
- Drive to different work sites, some far away.
Skills And Experience
- You must be a qualified and experienced engineer.
- You should know MEICA well.
- You must work well with others.
- You need to understand health and safety rules.
- You must have a full UK driving licence.
Pay And Hours
- Details about pay and hours will be told later.
- You may work flexibly with a mix of office and home working.
- Sometimes you will work outside normal hours for emergencies.
Location And Workplace
- You will work for Natural Resources Wales (NRW).
- You will be based in the North East Wales office.
- You will travel to work sites that are sometimes remote.
