Role summaryRole Summary
  • This is a 12-month job for recent graduates.
  • You should have finished a degree related to environment or engineering.
  • You will work with the team in South West Wales.
  • You will help manage and look after flood risk assets.
Key tasksKey Tasks
  • Help with surveys of land and flood areas.
  • Assist with checking reservoirs that hold water.
  • Keep records in the National Flood Risk Asset Management System, called NFRAMS.
  • Update other flood risk data systems like AMX.
  • Work with different teams to protect communities from floods.
Skills and experienceSkills And Experience
  • You must have a degree finished in the last 18 months.
  • You need a full UK driving licence for site visits.
  • You should be ready to travel to offices and remote sites.
  • You will learn about flood risk management and teamwork.
Pay and hoursPay And Hours
  • This is a paid job for one year.
  • Flexible working is supported, with some time working from home.
  • You will work regular hours with planned meetings or training.
