Role Summary
- This is a 12-month job for recent graduates.
- You should have finished a degree related to environment or engineering.
- You will work with the team in South West Wales.
- You will help manage and look after flood risk assets.
Key Tasks
- Help with surveys of land and flood areas.
- Assist with checking reservoirs that hold water.
- Keep records in the National Flood Risk Asset Management System, called NFRAMS.
- Update other flood risk data systems like AMX.
- Work with different teams to protect communities from floods.
Skills And Experience
- You must have a degree finished in the last 18 months.
- You need a full UK driving licence for site visits.
- You should be ready to travel to offices and remote sites.
- You will learn about flood risk management and teamwork.
Pay And Hours
- This is a paid job for one year.
- Flexible working is supported, with some time working from home.
- You will work regular hours with planned meetings or training.
Location And Workplace
- You will be based in South West Wales.
- The job includes travel to offices and flood sites.
- Some working from home is possible.
