Role Summary
- You will manage the maintenance of Wolfson College buildings and grounds.
- You will lead a team and work with contractors to keep the estate safe and attractive.
- You will help plan big building projects and make sure health and safety rules are followed.
Key Tasks
- Lead and support the maintenance team of 4 people.
- Hire and manage contractors for repairs and new work.
- Plan and carry out regular and urgent maintenance.
- Check that fire safety, asbestos, and other health rules are met.
- Manage budgets for maintenance and improvements.
- Inspect the estate and plan for future upkeep.
Skills And Experience
- Experience managing building and estate maintenance teams.
- Good at working with contractors and managing projects.
- Understand heating, water, and drainage systems.
- Know health and safety laws and risk checks.
- Good organisation, communication, and computer skills.
- Have a health and safety qualification.
- Be friendly and work well with others.
Pay And Hours
- You will be paid £50,742 per year.
- This includes salary, extra pay for living in Oxford, travel and food allowances.
- Full-time permanent job.
- You get 39 days holiday, including bank holidays.
