Role Summary
- You will help guide the NHS Business Service Authority (NHSBSA).
- You will make sure services work well and improve over time.
- One person will also lead the Audit and Risk Committee (ARC).
Key Tasks
- Help plan the NHSBSA’s goals and future plans.
- Check how well the NHSBSA’s leaders are doing their jobs.
- Make friends with other health and care groups to work better.
- Give advice and ask questions about big decisions.
Skills And Experience
- Have experience doing senior jobs in private, public, or charity groups.
- Be good at working with a board of directors.
- Be able to understand and make smart decisions from complex info.
- Have strong communication skills and build good relationships.
- Good if you know about risk, pensions, large projects, or tech.
- For ARC Chair, you should know finance well and have audit experience.
Pay And Hours
- £7,883 per year for most directors.
- £13,137 per year for the ARC Chair.
- Work about 2 to 3 days each month.
- Appointments last up to 3 years.
Location And Workplace
- You will work with the NHSBSA, which supports health and social care.
- Work is likely to be in England, but you will connect with UK-wide groups.
