Role Summary
- Adnodd makes learning resources for schools in Wales.
- We need two Board Members to help lead and guide Adnodd.
- You will also join the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee, called ARAC.
- You help check that Adnodd is working well and using money properly.
Key Tasks
- Help set Adnodd’s plans and goals.
- Watch how well Adnodd is doing.
- Give advice about money, risks, and rules.
- Join meetings, both in person and online.
Skills And Experience
- Know about financial or risk management.
- Experience in governing or advising groups.
- Able to understand data and work well with others.
- Speak some Welsh (Level 1 or above).
- Understand fairness and respect for all people.
- Good to have: finance qualifications, legal or contract experience.
Pay And Hours
- You get £95 for each day you work.
- You will work about two days per month.
- Travel and other reasonable costs will be paid.
Location And Workplace
- Meetings happen online and in places in Wales.
- Two main Board meetings each year are in Wales, with online option.
- Other meetings are online on Microsoft Teams.
