Role Summary
- Work as a Senior Specialist Lawyer for Natural Resources Wales (NRW).
- Give legal advice to people inside NRW.
- Help protect and improve the natural environment of Wales.
Key Tasks
- Give legal advice about NRW's enforcement work.
- Work with others in NRW on legal cases, including prosecutions.
- Help make sure NRW follows the law when making decisions.
- Work with Welsh Government, charities, and businesses.
Skills And Experience
- You must be a qualified solicitor or barrister (types of lawyers).
- Experience in public or private legal work is needed.
- Knowledge of criminal law and the Crown Prosecutors Code is good to have.
- You do not need to know environmental law before. Training will be given.
Pay And Hours

- Flexible working hours are supported.
- You will agree your work pattern when starting.
Location And Workplace
- You will work at an NRW office in Wales.
- Hybrid working (mix of home and office) is possible.
- Face-to-face meetings and training will be planned ahead.
