Role Summary
- You will work as an Engineer or Urban Designer.
- You join a team with designers, engineers, and specialists.
- Together, you will make places better for walking, wheeling, and cycling.
- You will help with important projects to improve transport.
Key Tasks
- Use your skills to create clear and correct technical work.
- Work with colleagues and local people to find good solutions.
- Manage simple projects from start to finish.
- Help prepare project ideas and proposals.
Skills And Experience
- You need a degree or 5 years work experience in a related area like Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, or Urban Design.
- You must be able to use design computer software like AutoCAD.
- Know about safe and healthy street design.
- Understand health and safety rules.
- Work well to keep people safe, including children and adults who need extra care.
Pay And Hours
- The job pays £33,265 per year or part-time equivalent.
- Full-time is 37.5 hours a week.
- Job share and flexible working are possible.
Location And Workplace
- The job is hybrid, working from home and at our Bristol office.
- You will be at the Bristol office 2 to 3 days each week.
