Role Summary
- You will lead health and safety at Westminster City Council.
- You will improve health and safety systems for over 3,600 staff.
- You will help create training and standards for safety.
- You will make sure the Council follows important safety rules and laws.
- You will work with senior staff to improve safety culture.
Key Tasks
- Review and improve health and safety management systems.
- Develop training to support health and safety standards.
- Work with others to reduce risks and keep people safe.
- Ensure rules like ISO 45001 and others are followed.
- Help the Council learn and improve in health and safety.
Skills And Experience
- Strong knowledge of health and safety, especially ISO 45001.
- Health and Safety qualification level 6 or above.
- Membership of the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety.
- Experience as a Lead Auditor in Health & Safety management.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of emergency management and risk.
- Commitment to fairness and honesty in audits.
Pay And Hours
- Salary between £56,436 and £76,872 per year.
- Your exact pay depends on your experience.
- You will work 36 hours each week.
- This is a permanent full-time job.

- You will work at Westminster City Hall.
