  • Lead the HTA and its board members.
  • Work with the Chief Executive to run the HTA.
  • Make sure the HTA is doing its job well.
  • Help improve the organization and how it works.
  • Give advice to the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) about the HTA.
Skills and experienceSkills And Experience
  • Have experience in a senior leadership role in public, private, or charity sectors.
  • Can lead a national public organization’s board.
  • Make good decisions using facts and evidence.
  • Have strong communication skills.
  • Can lead through change and improvements.
  • Must not have or had any personal involvement with the tissue activities that HTA regulates.
Pay and hoursPay And Hours
  • You will be paid £42,000 a year.
  • Work is for 2 to 3 days a week.
  • The appointment can last up to 3 years.

  • The position may involve working in different places, not just an office.
  • You will work closely with others in the DHSC and HTA.
