Role Summary
- You will help protect the environment in North Powys.
- You will work with a team to look after water and nature.
- The job includes following laws about the environment.
- You will visit farms, businesses and communities to help.
Key Tasks
- Check water quality and investigate problems.
- Respond to environmental incidents quickly.
- Help improve rivers, wildlife, and special protected areas.
- Work with others to find practical solutions to environmental issues.
Skills And Experience
- You must have a full UK driving licence.
- You need to travel to rural places that buses do not reach.
- You will work in the office and outside in nature.
- You should be able to respond quickly to incidents.
Pay And Hours
- The job offers flexible ways of working.
- You will agree your work plan, including office and home working.
- You must attend some face-to-face meetings and training.
Location And Workplace
- You will work mostly in North Powys.
- You will have an office base but also work outside.
- Travel to sites in rural areas is part of the job.
