Role Summary
- You will work on projects to help schools and communities travel actively in Wales.
- The job is full-time or can be shared with someone else.
- The contract lasts until September 2027.
- You can work partly from home and partly in the office.
Key Tasks
- Plan and run activities, events and workshops about active travel.
- Work with schools, local councils, volunteers and others.
- Build good relationships and support volunteers.
- Manage project documents, money and risk assessments.
Skills And Experience
- You need a degree or similar experience of at least 3 years.
- Experience with community groups or volunteering is good.
- You should be able to manage small projects or parts of projects.
- You must be comfortable working with people and leading workshops.
- You should understand basic Welsh and use simple Welsh phrases.
- You must promote safety for children, young people and adults at risk.
Pay And Hours
- Salary is £29,835 per year, less if you work part-time.
- 37.5 hours per week or job share.
- Flexible working options available.
