Role Summary
- Natural Resources Wales has two jobs.
- You will help fight climate change in Wales.
- You will support energy saving and pollution rules.
- These jobs help businesses follow important laws.
- You will help Wales move to cleaner energy.
Key Tasks
- Check applications for permits to pollute less.
- Look at emissions data and reports.
- Do audits and inspections at sites.
- Help with enforcement if rules are broken.
- Lead work on the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS).
- Work with the Welsh Government and other agencies.
- Find ways to make rules and reports better.
Skills And Experience
- Good knowledge of energy and pollution rules.
- Able to understand and explain tricky technical information.
- Good communication skills to work with many people.
- Able to give clear advice based on evidence.
- You must have a full UK driving licence to visit sites.
Pay And Hours
- The pay will be explained during application.
- Flexible working hours available.
- You will agree hours and days when you start.
Location And Workplace
- You will work near your home at a Natural Resources Wales office.
- You can work some days from home (hybrid working).
- You will visit sites for inspections often.
