  • You will help the National Trust take care of nature, history, and beauty across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
  • You will work with the leadership team to make big decisions about how people work here.
  • You will lead teams that support staff and volunteers.

  • Have experience as a leader in big, complex organisations.
  • Know about people strategy, culture, and how to manage staff and volunteers.
  • Have helped large organisations change and improve before.
  • Are good at working with senior leaders and Boards.
  • Can inspire and lead teams through changes.
  • Understand finance and business well.
  • Care about equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Believe in the National Trust’s purpose: Care for nature and history for everyone, forever.
Pay and hoursPay And Hours
  • The job offers flexible working hours.
  • You will work partly from home and partly in office or National Trust sites.
  • You should expect to spend 40% to 60% of your time at National Trust places.

  • You can work flexibly from home or offices.
  • Regular travel to Swindon and London offices is needed.
  • You will also visit other National Trust sites in the UK.
