Role Summary
- Lead work on marine water quality modelling at Natural Resource Wales (NRW).
- Help improve and protect the sea around Wales.
- Use your skills to develop new ways to study and improve water quality.
- Work with different teams inside NRW and other organisations like the Welsh Government.
Key Tasks
- Create and run models that show water quality in the sea.
- Work with strategy, policy, and operations teams to use these models.
- Solve problems using your knowledge of marine water quality.
- Work with national partners like the Environment Agency.
- Help improve NRW's ability to protect marine environments.
Skills And Experience
- Have experience in marine water quality modelling.
- Be able to work with different teams and partners.
- Know how to develop and use modelling tools.
- Be ready to learn and share knowledge.
Pay And Hours
- This is a fixed-term job until 31 March 2029.
- It may become permanent later, but this is not certain.
- Flexible working hours are supported.
Location And Workplace
- Work from the NRW office closest to your home.
- You will work in the office and from home (hybrid working).
- Meetings and training will be planned in advance.
- Interviews will be online using Microsoft Teams.
