Role Summary
- The Wales Audit Office (WAO) helps check how public money is used in Wales.
- The WAO Board plans the future and makes sure work is done well and costs are low.
- The Auditor General leads the WAO and checks public accounts.
- The Welsh Parliament (called the Senedd) wants to find a new Non-Executive Member for the WAO Board.
- This role starts in March 2027.
Key Tasks
- Help set the WAO's goals and plans.
- Make sure the WAO does its jobs carefully and wisely.
- Work with other Board members to support the WAO.
