Role Summary
- Work to protect the environment in Wales.
- Join a training programme to learn and earn.
- Become an Enforcement Apprentice until 31 March 2028.
- Help keep rivers, wildlife, and land safe.
Key Tasks
- Work with experienced officers.
- Support investigations and checks on rules.
- Help check fishing licences and illegal waste sites.
- Talk to people and explain environmental rules.
- Take action if rules are broken.
Skills And Experience
- Want to protect the environment.
- Ready to learn new skills.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Able to travel to different places in Wales.
Pay And Hours
- You will be paid while you learn.
- This is a fixed term role until 31 March 2028.
- Flexible working hours with some office and home working.
Location And Workplace
- There are 6 job locations in Wales:
- South West, South East, South Central, North East, North West, and Mid Wales.
- You will work from the office in your chosen area.
- You will travel to sites for visits and enforcement work.
