Role Summary
- You will help protect Natural Resources Wales (NRW) from cyber threats.
- You will work to keep NRW's digital information and systems safe.
- You will help find and respond to cyber security problems.
Key Tasks
- Check and respond to cyber security alerts and incidents.
- Use Microsoft security tools like Microsoft Defender.
- Work with teams in ICT (Information and Communications Technology) and security.
- Help fix security issues and improve security processes.
- Support managing risks and reviewing threats.
- Drive to different offices if needed for major incidents.
Skills And Experience
- Good knowledge of cyber security and ICT systems.
- Experience with Microsoft security tools is helpful.
- Able to work with different teams and share information.
- You must have a full and current UK driving licence.
Pay And Hours
- Flexible working is supported.
- You will be based at the nearest NRW office to your home.
- A hybrid working pattern will be agreed when you start.
- Some face-to-face meetings and training will happen.
Location And Workplace
- Based mostly near your home at an NRW office.
- May need to work at other government offices in important incidents.
- Work will include working both in the office and from home.
