Role Summary
- You will help build and keep security automation working.
- This automation finds, checks, and stops cyber threats.
- You will work with teams who respond to security incidents.
- You will make new automated actions called playbooks.
- You will support and teach junior team members.
Key Tasks
- Work with incident response teams to improve security work.
- Create and test security automation.
- Use big data tools to check how automation works.
- Write clear records of system changes.
- Lead the development of new use cases for automation.
- Check quality of work done by other team members.
Skills And Experience
- Know how to use Splunk security and automation tools.
- Able to write scripts and use programming languages like Python, Java, or C++.
- Understand security incident response and frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and NIST.
- Experience with Windows, Linux, and databases.
- Good at analyzing large sets of data.
