Role Summary
- Work for Natural Resources Wales to protect the environment.
- Check and regulate sites in industry and waste sectors.
- Help prevent pollution and keep Wales’ nature safe.
Key Tasks
- Visit and inspect different industrial sites like factories and waste treatment plants.
- Check that sites follow environmental rules.
- Give advice to site operators to improve their work.
- Take action if sites do not follow rules.
- Respond quickly to environmental problems or incidents.
Skills And Experience
- Experience in environmental regulation or working in regulated industries.
- Good knowledge of environmental laws.
- Able to work alone and in a team.
- Must have a full UK driving licence for site visits.
Pay And Hours
- The job has flexible working hours.
- Work includes some visits at short notice.
- You will agree a working pattern after you start.
Location And Workplace
- Based at the Natural Resources Wales office in Buckley.
- Work at sites across North and Mid Wales.
- Some work from home with planned meetings in the office.
