Role Summary
- The General Dental Council (GDC) looks after the dental team in the UK.

- The GDC wants an Independent Member for their Audit and Risk Committee (ARC).
- The ARC helps check money matters and how risks are managed.
Key Tasks
- Check financial reports are correct and honest.
- Look at how risks and controls are managed.
- Help make sure the GDC follows laws and rules.
- Work with others on the committee to keep the GDC strong.
Skills And Experience
- You must be a qualified accountant.
- Have recent experience in senior financial roles.
- Know public sector money rules and reports.
- Understand risk management and controls.
- Be able to think clearly and give good advice.
