About the Role 

In 2021 Diageo’s Global Head Quarters will relocate to Great Marlborough Street, Soho, London.  At the front of the new footprint to the office will be a world leading retail outlet, selling Diageo products from around the world.  The Retail outlet will occupy 249sq metres in a prime central London location and this new opening is needing Sales Associates to help us deliver world-class customer experiences.   

Our Luxury Sales Associates will sell a wide range of our portfolio and create bespoke sales experiences to our customers. With the support of our training programme, you’ll become a category expert and harness this knowledge in order to upsell and be a true brand ambassador, educating and highlighting the delights of our portfolio to customers.  

Alongside serving customers, you’ll play a key role in the merchandising, upselling, inventory control and overall operations of the store. To work in our Sales team, you’ll be passionate about drinks culture and customer trends, as well as being a true team player, collaborating with management and various teams throughout Diageo. 

We are looking for permanent full-time and part-time Sales Associates and there are opportunities for Senior Sales Associe positions.  

About You 

To be successful, you’ll need great retail (or related) experience and be guided by a customer-first mindset. You’ll have the ability to create personalised experiences in accordance to customer needs by interpreting their desires, make purchase suggestions and ensure each customer has a world-class experience when visiting our store. 

You’ll have demonstrated experience working within a target driven environment to achieve individual and team objectives, dealing with a high volume of customer footfall. As products are premium brands throughout the world, therefore previous experience working within a luxury sales environment is preferable but not essential.
