Who we are
AbilityNet exists to help make the digital world accessible to all. For more than 25 years, we have been transforming the lives of older and disabled people, and working with organisations of all types and sizes to build a digital world that is accessible and inclusive.

AbilityNet is the leading UK charity for technology and disability, a founder member of the global accessibility profession. We are proud to be a Disability Confident Leader, and each year, we organise TechShare Pro, the UK's largest accessibility and inclusive design conference.

What we do
We provide a range of free services for older and disabled people, their family and friends, organisations and charities that support them, and other people who care for them. We do this via our free online resources and a network of over 450 community-based volunteers.

We provide a free helpline so people can ask about how technology can be adapted to meet specific access needs, and we provide free factsheets, blogs, online tools and webinars about the many ways that technology can help older and disabled people.

Our teams of accessibility experts help organisations of all types and sizes build accessible digital products and services, with our commercial services helping to fund our work in digital inclusion.
