HR Coordinator (Part-Time, Term-Time + 2 Weeks)

Are you an experienced HR Coordinator looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a proactive and personable HR Coordinator to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in the Crawley area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised HR Coordinator who thrives on keeping things running smoothly and enjoys being at the heart of a busy school environment. If you`re an HR Coordinator who loves people as much as policies, this could be the perfect role for you!

This diverse and community-focused school prides itself on creating a supportive environment where staff and students can flourish-because when the people are happy, everything else falls into place (yes, even the paperwork!).

Benefits of the Role:

  • Access to the Trust Employee Advantage Scheme
  • Term-time working pattern supporting a positive work-life balance
  • Opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative school environment
  • Ongoing professional development opportunities
  • Local Government Pension Scheme (where applicable)

The Role
As HR Coordinator, you`ll be the go-to person for all things people-related-keeping HR processes ticking along like clockwork. From recruitment to records, you`ll ensure everything is in shipshape order (because even the best schools need someone to keep their "human resources" human!).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, including safer recruitment compliance
  • Maintain and update HR records and systems
  • Support staff onboarding, contracts, and employment documentation
  • Provide administrative support on HR matters including absence monitoring and staff wellbeing
  • Ensure adherence to school policies and relevant employment legislation

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Proven HR experience (essential)
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills (you love a good spreadsheet!)
  • Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Good working knowledge of HR processes and employment practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Working Pattern & Salary:

  • 32 hours per week
  • 40 weeks per year (term-time plus additional weeks)
  • Salary: 19,474 per annum

This is a great opportunity for an HR Coordinator who wants to make a real impact-because behind every great school is a great HR Coordinator making sure everything (and everyone) is in the right place at the right time.
