Buying Assistant

BUYING ASSISTANT ONLINE RETAILER ACROSS UK & US 5 DAYS IN OFFICE WOMENSWEAR AND MENSWEAR

Join a growing premium retailer where you`ll play a key role in supporting the Buying team throughout the product lifecycle. Working closely with Buyers, suppliers and internal teams, you`ll help ensure products are ordered, tracked and delivered on time while keeping product information accurate and up to date.

The Role

• Raise, issue and maintain purchase orders across multiple product categories.

• Support the management of seasonal ranges, ensuring product, pricing and delivery information is accurate.

• Liaise with suppliers to manage order confirmations, delivery schedules and product information.

• Request and coordinate product imagery, size guides and marketing assets.

• Work closely with Operations, Ecommerce, Marketing and Finance to ensure products are ready for launch.

• Support the resolution of stock, delivery and supplier queries.

• Attend showroom appointments and trade events where required.

• Assist with ad hoc projects and identify opportunities to improve buying processes.

About You

• Previous experience in a Buying Assistant, Merchandising Assistant or similar retail head office role.

• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Confident working with numbers and proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proactive, eager to learn and passionate about product, with a genuine interest in developing a career in Buying.
